BRIDGE CARPENTER – RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Constructs forms and sets them in preparation for      pouring concrete.

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles.

  • Assists in work site set up, maintenance, and clean up,      including scaffolding construction & dismantling.

  • Load & unload Materials.

  • Maintain a clean job site.

  • Works on structural steel and concrete components of      bridges.

  • Assists in bridge washing, cleaning, painting ,      sandblasting, sealing, grouting, placing structural concrete, etc.

  • Repairs or replaces functional bridge elements.

  • Ability to utilize tools & equipment used in      carpentry, steel construction, and concrete finishing.

  • Pour, grade and finish concrete.

  • Welding experience is desirable
